The one bedroom Indiaan Harbour Apartment is a modern apartment and is located in the Oosterdok area close to the Central Station and is suited for 4 persons looking for a great time in Amsterdam.
This modern apartment will surprise you. The wooden floors give this apartment a classy touch. The living area has a comfortable double sofa bed and in the same are you will find the dining table with 4 chairs. A flat screen television with a DVD player is there for you to be entertained. Wireless internet is available so you take your laptop along.
The open kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook a nice meal. Use the coffee machine or the kettle to make a hot cup of coffee or tea for your breakfast.
The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom comes with a shower, a sink, a bath tub and a toilet. Towels and bed linen are provided.
Your apartment is a walking distance away from the centre part of Amsterdam. You can even walk to the famous Red Light district. The ladies of the night will give you a warm welcome not because you are so handsome but because of your money. If the curtains are closed and the red light is burning then the lady has a customer. It is a safe place to be because the pimps want to protect their business. And if you really want to have a strange experience, go to the sex museum in this district.
Amsterdam is a bicycle friendly city. So hire a bike and go for a ride to the Museumplein or the Museum square. The Rijksmuseum is a big museum with 200 halls full of 17th century paintings of Dutch masters like Rembrandt, Hals and Steen. The Night Watch of Rembrandt is the big attraction of this museum. On the same square you can visit the Van Gogh museum to see his expressionist paintings like the two self portraits of this famous painter.
When you are in Amsterdam it is also nice to try some typical Dutch things. Go to a Bruine Kroeg or a brown café with a typical atmosphere of candles and dimmed lights. Try a jenever or a borrel. This is a shot of Dutch brandy or drink the local beer of Amsterdam called Amstel Beer.

We were a family of 4 and the apartment satisfied most of our needs. Just to warn you when we reached the apartment location it was a bit dodgy and not clean looking, but the inside was perfect. Plus points are that very close to the central station, the bus stop is just opposite the apartment to central it is only one stop. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant nearby- Sea Palace very recommendable and the Spar supermarket is just 2 minute walk. One whole if you are going with a small family definitely recommendable. The only down side for us was that the TV did not work but the DVD player was working , and we had some DVDs with us.Amar - Date: 15-04-2012
Apartment was as photographed and in a great location. It is modern and larger than expected however there were issues with the plumbing. Check in was straight forward and the staff in the office were very helpful. Would recommend highlyjack - Date: 24-11-2011
I can highly recommend Amsterdam Apartments. There was a problem with the original apartment we had booked but the support we received from the staff in rectifying the situation was outstanding. Within half a hour we were moved to a beautiful apartment. It was great to experience such friendly and understanding staff.Christine - Date: 03-11-2011

Very slick apartment with a nice view of the river and short walk from the centre. Has huge windows, high ceilings, modern/comfortable furniture, deep bath tub. We didn't want to leave!jonathan - Date: 21-01-2011
A lovely basement apartment with own front door, pleasant decor and all you need for a comfortable stay. It was very cold on our visit but the heating was superb and kept us cosy. Close to station and city centre but far enough away to get a breather. There is a small Spar supermarket round the corner or a larger supermarket further up. Would highly recommend and if returning in the future would consider these apartments again. Very helpful and friendly staff too.zoe - Date: 26-11-2010
