The ultra-modern Eastern Park Apartment Suite I is a synonym for space and style and welcomes a group of up to 4 guests wishing to stay a bit off the centre of Amsterdam.
With so much room available, this apartment provides accommodation for as many as six people. It features two bedrooms: one with a double-bed, the other with two single ones, both equally stylish as the rest of the atmospheric, toned-down interior. The living area is furnished with a sleeping sofa, adding to the total capacity of the apartment, a big dining table with seating, designer coffee table and chair and a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player for the laid-back evenings with a glass of wine. The open-plan kitchen is well-adapted to the preparation of meals of your own choice. Furthermore, there are two modern designer bathrooms to be found – one with a shower, the other with a bathtub, both including a toilet and a sink, granting the guests lots of functionality and a feel of unmatched convenience.
This exceptionally stylish place, located in the area of Dapperbuurt, near the centre of Amsterdam, provides great accommodation for families or larger groups in search of a safe harbor still close to the heart of the city.
The area surrounding the apartment is a mixture of many different and exciting places to go to and see, each as unique as it can get in Amsterdam, the city of contrasts living under one roof.
The nearby picturesque Oosterpark with tons of greenery and birds is a perfect location for a picnic, which you can organize after a short trip to the Dappermarkt – a place for very inexpensive shopping, offering a great selection of food, spices and clothes (most products cost as little as €1). This marketplace is surrounded by many colorful, friendly and distinct cafés, so if you’re up for a coffee or tea, you know where to go. Also, expect to come across some fascinating ‘exotic’ shops, like the Turkish bakery Hilal or the Islamite butcher Sera.
If you’re out for a longer walk, you may catch a tram or a bus which can take you directly to the centre, but it is also advised to go down the Linnaeusstraat extending to the Middenweg and get to Park Frankendael – the only existing 17th century country estate in Amsterdam. It consists of a beautiful park and two historic gardens. There’s also the amazing Huize Frankendeal hosting some cultural events and, if you’re after some palatal experience, two unique restaurants – Merkelbach and De Kas, both worth trying out.
