You will find the Congress Centre Apartment C4 apartment located just south of the city centre close to the River Amstel. Hop across the Berlagebrug Bridge to reach Amstel Station from where you can jump aboard a tram, bus or metro train (underground) up to Central Station. The journey can take as little as 7 minutes.
This is a rather sleepy neighbourhood along the side of the River Amstel known as the Ijselbuurt. You will notice lots of pretty houseboats lining the water’s edge and you can make your way north along the river bank to reach the city centre on foot in around 25 minutes.
Many visitors opt to hire bicycles and experience the city and its many attractions from a slightly faster and higher vantage point. There are lots of hire shops in the city centre with cheap and competitive prices. It’s considerably cheaper than relying on public transport and it’s also lots of fun, healthy and eco-friendly.
