The Congress Centre Apartment C2 is the place to choose if you’re looking for a compact though functional place to stay for up to two persons. Located in the southern part of Amsterdam, it offers a range of local attractions and an easy access to the city centre.
Enjoy the range of homelike features provided for your using pleasure in a tranquil setting of delicate décor consisting of contemporary modest finish, stylish wooden floors and lots of brightness owed to the big windows. The living area comes with a comfortable sofa set opposite the flatscreen TV enabling you to make the most of the many available international channels. There is also a workstation comprising a desk and a chair, a storage unit, a coffee table and a big wall unit set across the room to semi-divide the place into two parts, the other of which is the dining-kitchen section, equipped with all the amenities you may find useful to cook just the way you like.
The relaxing bedroom is located separately and features a large double bed and a handful of essential bedside items. The apartment is complete with the featured contemporary bathroom with a sink, toilet and a shower to make the place fully ready to serve you the best way it can.
Apart from the vicinity to many fantastic local attractions, including some fine and affordable eating establishments and cafés (Diga, Flinders B.V. or Café Restaurant Dauphine), the Congress Centre Apartment C2 provides easy access to the public transport (Amstelstation metro, tram and train), making the outing to and from the city centre really smooth and quick.
Step outside the apartment and enjoy the magnificent view over the canal of the river of Amstel. Follow it along to admire the wonderful lines of authentic houseboats; alternatively, you may as well rent a boat and discover the city from a totally new perspective.
If you wish to do it the more usual local way, rent a bike and feel like a true Dutchman. With a vast majority of the city covered with dedicated bike lanes, you are bound to make the most of your stay if you choose the two wheels as your means of transport.
Once you decide on the way of moving around, you can choose either the left bank with the modern RAI Exhibition centre, the charming and leisurely Beatrixpark or the Sarphatipark with a huge lake in the centre, the busy and well-supplied Albert Cuypmarkt or the right side bank with the romantic Frankendael Park, the relaxing Oosterpark and the fantastic Artis Zoo, just to name a few of the surrounding attractions. One thing is for sure – wherever you go, you’ll surely find some nice spot to stop at, like a bar, a boutique, a smaller art gallery or a museum found in-between all the major spots to see.
