This modern and stylish one-bedroom Amsterdam apartment offers convenient accommodation for up to two persons in search of a homelike place to stay a little outside the city centre.
The Congress Centre Apartment B4 enjoys a great amount of daylight owing to the featured big windows, a sense of comfort and tranquillity provided by the charming, atmospheric décor and the stylish wooden floors and despite its compact size, offers a high level of convenience and functionality.
The living area is bright and airy and comes with a sofa, a flatscreen TV, a coffee table, a working desk with a chair and a storage unit. It is semi-divided by a capacious wall unit, separating it from the dining section furnished with a table with a set of chairs. Further inside the place, you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen, enabling you to prepare your meals according to your taste.
The apartment features a separate intimate bedroom with a large double bed and several bedside items. Another separate room is a fresh and modern bathroom where you’ll be able to use a toilet, sink and a shower, making the apartment fully complete.
Located in the area of Rivierenbuurt, very close to De Pijp to the north-west and Transvaalbuurt to the east, this apartment is a perfect place to enjoy a truly relaxed Dutch way of living, at the same time being able to make the most of the busy city centre which can be reached easily by means of the public transport.
If you cross the Amstel river, providing an excellent location for a late-afternoon casual walk along its banks (or a pedal boat trip along its surface), you’ll get to the Amstelstation metro, tram and train station; given that, you’ll be able to get to other parts of the city in a flash. Still, if you proceed to the east, you’ll get to the mysteriously charming and romantic Frankendael Park with the famous restaurant of De Kas.
However, if you stick to the left side of Amstel, you might find it interesting to visit the amazing RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre with plenty of exciting exhibits, or the beautiful Beatrixpark, located a bit further to the west.
From there it is highly recommended to go north and discover the picturesque district of De Pijp with its fantastic cafés and restaurants, great boutiques, another wonderful park by the name of Sarphatipark and the local attraction of Albert Cuyp Market, offering a huge selection of fresh produce, as well as some nice works of art and antiques.
