Take it to the streets and appreciate the closest surrounding offering immediate vicinity of the Amstel river, and with several boat rentals lined along the bank you cannot get a better opportunity to admire the city from a very different and truly exciting perspective.
Apart from that, the places like Diga or Finders B.V. (the latter found on the eastern bank) will surely treat you with something special to eat and drink, and while you’re satiated, you may proceed to discover the local attractions.
Go to the west and enjoy the wonderful architecture found along Vrijheidslaan. Proceed further down Rooseveltlaan lined with great boutiques, cafés, restaurants and shops and just behind the Europaplein you will find the amazing Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre featuring some really fantastic exhibitions.
