Relax and enjoy your stay in this delightful 1-bedroom apartment  hosting up to 6 guests, located in a traditional building in the Vondelpark area, not far from the Museumplein and the centre of Amsterdam

Take advantage of a great opportunity. You will not regret choosing to sojourn in one of our most elegant apartments, at a walking distance from the famous park of Amsterdam, the Vondelpark, and from the Museumplein square. 

This stunning apartment is located in a recently renovated traditional Dutch building, therefore blending a charming and modern stylish atmosphere with the old architectural mood typical of Holland. 

An extremely large and spacious living room, contemporarily decorated with three modern black couches (one of them unfolds to reveal a double-bed), colorful cushions and a white elegant table, is enclosed in a warm and cosy traditional space, to offer a pleasant game of contrasts emphasized by the light that two large windows allow inside. The ideal place to relax after a day spent exploring the beauties of Amsterdam, eventually enjoying a good movie. 

If you wish to prepare a good meal, you will find anything you need in the open kitchen, stylish and functional as well as amazingly spacious. Dinner can be served and enjoyed in the adjoining dining room, beautifully furnished with a large oval table and comfy chairs.

Most of the apartment’s wooden cabinets and cupboards are traditional, nicely contrasting with the sober chess floor of the kitchen and the bathroom, this latter equipped with a toilet, a shower box, a bath tub and a sink. 

Enjoy a coffee in the morning or a nice drink at night on the little balcony overlooking the canal, situated right on the second floor of the apartment. A flight of stairs links the living room to the attic bedroom, furnished with two single beds and a double bed, a nightstand and several chairs. 

The apartment can host up to six persons and it is the ideal choice for groups or families, but also a good alternative for couples.

The apartment is situated between two beautiful parks: the quiet and wide Rembrandtpark, the ideal place for jogging or relaxing after a busy afternoon in town, and the historical Vondelpark, Amsterdam’s most famous park. Right in the centre of the Vondelpark you will find a delightful tea room, ‘t Blaauwe Theehuis (www.blauwetheehuis.nl), a cosy bar with a charming terrace - a must, especially during summertime.

 

The adjacent Overtoom is the street that links this side of the city to the centre. Here you will find many buses and trams leading up to the Canal Belt and to the centre, but also to the Pijp, the peripheral district of Amstredam’s nightlife and shopping.

 

The greatest advantage, though, is that you will have all the most important museums of Holland at a walking distance: the newly renovated Stadelijk Museum (http://www.stedelijk.nl) housing contemporary hexibitions, the world famous Van Gogh Museum (www.vangoghmuseum.nl) and the Rijksmuseum (https://www.rijksmuseum.nl), Amsterdam’s historical gem.

 

Plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs will keep you busy at night too. The Overtoom hosts so many venues that you will not need to reach the city centre to find a good spot to enjoy a good dinner. Here you will find an amazing Italian pizzeria (The Pizzabakkers, Overttom 501), a typical Dutch café-restaurant (Kaap de Goede Hoop, Overtoom 534) and many other national and exotic places.

Cheap beers, underground vibes and good music at the OT301, (Overtoom 301, www.ot301.nl), an ex-squatted venue alway offering an interesting program dedicated to music and art.
